About Scott

Hi, I am Scott. I live in beautiful North Idaho near the town of Bonners Ferry.

I have worked in the construction trade for over 20 years. I was an installer for a sign company, worked as a water and fire damage tech, a mold remediation tech, worked for a local contractor in Spirit Lake, and currently do a variety of handyman work. I spent 5 years working as a pest control tech for a local company in Sandpoint.

I am a graduate of Inspection Certification Associates (ICA). This coarse is specifically designed for home inspectors. I follow the America Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) standards. The first organizations of it's kind.

Almost all of my work experience has been in a service field. My first job was for a customer jewelry designer. I started as a shop boy, cleaning the shop and store, while I was taught various aspects of the trade. Here I learned a life long valuable lesson. Customer service with integrity was paramount. That was the key to this design shops success.

My goal with each inspection is to honestly represent the home to provide each client a clear picture of the property. Giving them an asset or tool in which to make an informed decision on a home purchase.

 Quality Inspections

All ASHI inspectors are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, and abide by a strict Code of Ethics'

In order to become certified,  inspectors were required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Buying a home is typically the largest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be evident to you.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
